On tap at Bagby’s place. It pours a clear golden orange color with a white head. The aroma is very bready with some bread crust and light notes of lemongrass. The flavor is the same. Lots of bread crust, lightly toasted pale malt and spicy noble hops. Solid bitterness. Impeccably clean and drinkable. So good.

On tap at Bagby’s place. It pours a lightly hazed pale orange color with a white head. The aroma has some banana, light clove and pepper. The flavor has some strong banana, bubble gum and herbal hop character. Much hoppier in the flavor than the aroma. The finish is bitter with some sweet bubble gum. Despite this deScription, somehow the beer works. I enjoyed it despite itself. Interesting.

On tap at Bagby’s place. It pours a mostly clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is bright and minty with some herbs. Basil stands out. The flavor is the same. Minty with some light pear and apple fruity esters. High carbonation. A little spicy yeast, but mostly herbal. Very minty. Light to medium bodied. Tasty.

Keg at Bottle Shop Bermondsey - London. Pours clear copper with a creamy, khaki head. The nose has some toasted grains, bread, leaves and orange peel. Medium sweet flavour with pleasant bready malts, caramel, some gooey pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more sweet and grainy bread, caramel, slight resin, bitter pine, melon, ripening citrus. Very drinkable stuff.

Draught @ CBC 2015. Pours hazy golden with a small offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty, slightly fruity and slightly grassy with bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, slightly malty, slightly fruity and slightly grassy. Mouthfeel is round, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, mango, freshly cut grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Classical IPA without any technical faults but this isn’t what my palete yearn for IPA-wise anymore and currently this just comes off as dull.
