Mokiko Retro 30th Anniversary Pale Ale 5.5%

Amber orange brown with a thick dense beige foam that does not linger. Piney, caramel and biscuit aroma. The taste is very much similar. It’s got an old skool first generation craft beer flavor profile.

Nice. Fruity. Initially feels almost ipa like in its hoppiness.

Little sweet and flowery. Very nice stuff!

Touch of clove, light bodied, quite hoppy. Interesting beer! Definitely more spicy and hoppy than wheaty and banana but I have to say I quite like it.

Mojiko Retro x Yellow Ape Craft Helles the Circle 5% Nice matte gold with thick off-white foam. Grainy aroma with some slightly spicy herbal hop notes - kind of evokes noble hops. Medium to light bodied, dry and crisp. Bready up front with a small sharp herbal bit in the finish. Solid stuff, I think this was made for Yellow Ape’s bottle shop’s anniversary.

Mojiko Retro Marzen 6% 19 IBU Nice amber orange color with a bready peach aroma and medium body. Sweeter than I expected with a peach tea vibe. Nice enough. Tap @ Yellow Ape’s Odona outpost.

Hints of chocolate, ovaltine maltiness touch of dark fruit. Nice. Almost dubbel like somehow.

Very malty, light hop bite, bit of strawberry fruitiness but surely that’s psychological.

Cloudy gold. Sweet banana and some wheat. Candied banana and a surprisingly pleasant sweetness. No clove and tons of candy. Normally I would hate this but today I like it.
