Not sure if I will ever get used to these holiday brews, but I'm glad at least narry called this a Christmas brew, instead of a holiday! Pour is darker brown and has a nose of friendly mild holiday spices. First taste is certainly spiced and this is common with all these brew genre. But just maybe its a little less spiced, more balanced, and not in yer face, as most others. Plus, I like to listen to old Bing, so that is a plus, yer honor. BTW, date code is sept 2025. Yea, its a stronger, what I believe to be ale, with a few ill ale characteristics as compared to a lager; but hey - everyone knows Bingy was just a big, good-natured slob. There, you have it.

Can at Amica center for Friars game with my brother. Bought us both one of these. Standard ipa nose of some tropics and herbs. Tastes of floral, pineapple, mango, herbaceous, some pine, and grapefruit. Medium bodied and textured.

Brewery draught, 9/5/25.
Murky copper-to-muted-brass. Small, white head.
Smells like weed! Spice, herb, pepper, but mostly weed. Clean.
Very malty which helps balance this dry cannabis character. Haven't found any of these terp IPAs to be more than novel. Just way too much weed character dominating the shit out of the beer.

Brewery draught, 9/5/25.
Clear, bright golden-brass. Small, white head.
Earthy, sweaty, West Coasty with pepper and wood. Biscuit and white bread easily balance from malt. No booze or resin.
Malty with white bread and yellow fruits. Ample but not resinous bitterness with rounded pine. Juicy somewhat. Very full and flavorful but all the while appropriately bitter. Fun earthy, funky, leafy, herbal hops notes. Lingering honey and white bread alongside stone fruit.

Brewery draught, 9/5/25.
Gently hazy, bright lemon. Well-retained, white head.
Floral, citrusy with biscuit and clean yeast. Low fruitiness.
White bread and light floral with pepper and citrus rind. Big maltiness and low-to-moderate bitterness. More of a new age, West Coast. No fruity yeast or big juice notes. Will reclassify as just an IPA.

Brewery draught, 9/5/25.
Clear, dark cola-hazelnut. Medium, beige head.
Toasty roasty, thick chocolate and dry bread. Maybe a bit light on base malt. Very roasty. Clean.
Yeah, a bit under base malted. Fruity, toasty, toasty malts, lots of tannin and cracker. Vanilla and milk chocolate. Not quite thin, but getting there. Just a bit too much dark malt.

Brewery draught, 9/5/25.
Clear, copper-anber. Small, dark beige head.
Big oxidized port nose. Round, candyish, well-aged. Not too grapey. Light balancing toffee and caramel. No booze noted.
Woody as hell with a fresh oakiness belying the assumed old port barrels. Blackberry, currant, pepper and vanilla with great acidity and a soft, chewy, not quite syrupy body that isn't boozey or too sweet. Excellent barrel, richness, attenuation and not too okay despite the up front woodiness. Love how much barrel character there is. Not just some macro "barrel aged" in name only beer.
