Keg at Right Proper, DC, 13/04/23. Moderately hazed golden orange with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is orange peel, light herb, grass, soft malts, melon. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, tangerine, lemon rind, herb, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with modest dusty hop bitterness. Passable affair ... rather basic and lacking any real hop presence or refreshment.

50cl bottle, clear amber with a ring of white head. Nose of persimmon and red wine vinegar, raw grain but some paper too, soggy wood, earthy. Flavor has more, there is some berry character along with the persimmon and tomato, red wine vinegar, grain and some sugar, wood, raspberry tea. Finishes medium bodied, tart.

Some grapefruit bretta. Pours hazy maroon with ok head. Orange peel, almost a hint of chamomile. Some oak that hangs around in the finish. Better than the Not Forgotten I just had from them--this one's a little more complex. Some cherry. Pleasant. Tap at Shaw brewpub.

Foeder barrel, and some peach skin. Light raspberry, but the barrel is the dominant flavour here. Pours ruby reddish without much head. Light tart finish--not a very strong aroma for the style. Easy drinking. Tap at Shaw location.

Draft: Poured a burnt reddish orange with bubble tan head around edge. Aroma is boozy, cherry, dark fruits, pungent funk. Taste is funky, tart, cherry, boozy, tingly.
