Tap at the brewery in Washington DC. A mostly clear crimson plum coloured pour with no head. Aroma is sour, woody balsa, grape funk, vinous, vinegar, tangy. Flavour is composed of woody bark, vanilla oak, red berries, chewy, plumy. Palate is semi sweet, flabby, butter, moderate fine carbonation. Ok.

Tap at the brewery in Washington DC. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, waxy citrus, orange rind, subdued, loose grains. Flavour is composed of loose wheat, flabby, butter, orange rind green fennel, little flabby. Palate is semi sweet, flabby, moderate carbonation. Very ordinary.

6 week old can A: Poured cloudy bright orange gold with a short head. Fair retention and sheet lace. S: Tart citrus and floral hop aroma with hints of caramel. T: Bitter, tart and floral. Citrus pith dominates with piney and woody notes following. M: Light, crisp and highly carbonated. Puckering finish. O: Pretty good fruity pale. I'd buy if it were available at home.
