Hand bottle bomber courtesy of crizay, thanks man! Pours deep amber with nice light colored mocha head. The aroma is dusty caramel, molasses, prunes, mild earthy figs and some faint chocolate notes. The taste has plenty of flavor with prunes, ripe cherries and figs mixing with roasted malts and a touch of molasses. It gets a little dry into the finish with lingering dark fruity esters and a touch of roasted malts and faint chocolate.

In case yer interested, TBK stands for the brew kettle, and that they do.... From a cool looking bomber, pour is nice. Smell is a little dull hoppy for a wheat beer, like a stronger APA, but now I see its a wheat ale. Some slight creamy CO2. Except for the beauty of a whaet pour, there is not about this beer that is wheat. Stronger back of throat bitter continuos linger after the first few slugs. Quite an impact. Has more IPA attributes than wheat, no lie. If you took the astringent biiter bite of a IIPA then mix it with a mild wheat beer perhaps you’s have this. Not mouth coating or oily like an IPA but as bitter, especially on the linger. IPA lovers, get this! One of the most bitter wheat ales I’ve had lately.

Bottle. Pours black with a very thick creamy brown head that laces very thickly. Aroma has a strong roasted malt note with some semi sweet chocolate and a bit of backing bourbon. Flavor began with semi sweet chocolate that was joined by strong roasted malts and a bit of bourbon coming out in the finish. Incredibly smooth beer.

Bomber courtesy of crizay. Bomber pours deep murky copper - amber with thin off white head. The aroma is full up sweet brown sugar, prunes, sticky ripe plums, some caramel, some mild black pepper and pumpernickel. The taste is similar with rich sweet prunes and brown sugar moving into mild spicy yeast and faint pepperiness. It ends sweet and smooth with the addition of caramel candy and slick sugary sweetness. Nice smooth Quad.

Bomber courtesy of crizay. Bomber pours deep darkness with mocha head. The aroma is drool inducing YUM with rich dark chocolate brownie, dark toasted wheat bread, caramel candy, black strap molasses and then a sliver of smoke here and there. The taste is similar with smooth creamy caramel candy, black strap molasses, chocolate brownie, some spicy hops and spicy black licorice. To midway and then into the finish the rich sweet chocolaty dark roasted goodness allows through a sense of bitter pine hop resin. Solid!

Bomber courtesy of crizay. Bomber pours pure gold with off white head. The aroma is spicy hops, some earthiness and then a dash of sharp citrus hops. The taste is smooth with spicy hops, a touch of sweet citrus, an herbal note or two and then earthiness. Yummy brew and if I didn’t know any better I’d say this was a solid Pale rather than its listed Wheat style.
