On tap at the brewpub on 01/14/2010. Fairly clear copper body with a small off-white head. Sweet noble hop aroma with a light toasty malt background. Sweet toasty malt flavor with a bit of noble hops. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear medium amber color with a thin frothy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is toffee with a bit of a buttery note. Taste is toffee, caramel, peach and pear like fruit notes and a bitter hoppy finish. A bit of booze as well. Smooth, full bodied.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy brownish bronze color with a medium tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of lightly roasted malts, nuts, bitter leafy hops, toffee. Taste is roasted malts, nuts, bitter leafy hops, toffee, green apple, caramel. Smooth, medium bodied. A bit of an alcohol burn.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear medium brown color with a small white head. Fair head retention and lacing. The aroma is strong green apple with just a bit of maltiness. Taste is nuts and toffee with a slightly hoppy finish. Medium bodied.

Growler from the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention and fair lacing. Aroma of candi sugar and spice with a bit of banana, citrus and other fruits. Taste is caramel, candi sugar, clove, banana, green banana, earthy and bitter hops in the finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

2500th rating. Hooray! Growler from the brewpub. Pours a clear ruby-purple color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of carmel, raisins, leafy bitter hops and toasted malts. Taste is caramel, toffee, bitter leafy hops, dark fruits and other notes, nutty notes. Smooth, medium bodied.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Sweet malty aroma with notes of toffee and caramel. Taste is also very sweet and malty with lots of caramel, toffee and brown sugar, but with a nice amount of bitter hops in the finish. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a pitch black color with a medium sized tan head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malts, espresso, chocolate and a faint bit of tobacco. Taste is roasted malts, caramel, espresso, bitter hops, chocolate. Very sweet but also very dark and roasty. Full bodied and very smooth. Everything comes together on this one... probably this brewery’s best.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a medium creamy off-white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is full of aromatic spices with cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, orange peel and a bit of caramel. Taste is very malty with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and leafy hops. Medium bodied.

On tap at the brewpub on 10/10/2009. Very clear dark amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet Belgian spice, Candi sugar and molasses. Belgian spice flavor, some fruit, banana, Candi sugar and faint molasses. Medium body with moderate carbonation.
