Aroma is full of aromatic spices with cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, orange peel and a bit of caramel. Taste is very malty with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and leafy hops. Medium bodied.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a medium offwhite head. The head lasts a bit and fades to a thin persistent layer on the beer’s surface. Decent lacing. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, oak, burnt sugar, apple. Taste is brown sugar, caramel, toffee, nuts, spicy wood, bourbon, vanilla and a faint fruitiness including notes of apple and peach. Smooth, medium-full bodied.
