Papsoes mystery blindtasting beer #7. Handbottled. Pours dark brown with a diminished tan head. Butterish and malt aroma. Light acidic and butterish notes following this. Flavour is light acidic and roasted malt touch swept in sweetish off-flavours. Ends light acidic. Strange.

(Handbottle 65 cl) Courtesy of BrianK. Pours an almost clear, deep golden with a small, off-white head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium body with a solid and clean malt base. A little low in carbonation. Rather sweet with almost no bitterness. 190407

Bottled. An unclear light amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet matly with light citrusy notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of oranges and straw. I find the body thin. Tasted blind.

Hand Bottled from Dickinsonbeer: Pours a slightly hazy golden with lots of effervescence and a nice dense white head. Classic spiciness and of the style with a hint of plastic or latex. Flavor is rich wheat malts and pretty easy on the bavarian yeast notes. not as sweet as others. Just easy drinking, full wheat flavor. Definately from the other side of the pond, but I love the subtleness of the German character. Palate was full and heavy with much less carbonation that it looked like it was going to offer. Thanks Paul !

Bottle from JB175; Thanks; Nose of black berries, caramel, banana, and cocoa; clear, dark cherry brown with a medium tan head that laces the glass; flavor of caramel malt, dark plummy fruit, some brown sugar sweetness, and a light chocolate note in the medium body. The finish is sweet and fruity with a miniscule amount of alcohol warmth. Very good Weizen Bock!

Bottle courtesy of Sammy: Poured a cloudy dirty brown color beer with a small foamy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some very subtle dry fruits. Taste of sweet malt is domination with again some very subtle dry fruits and some light alcohol notes. Body is full with some limited filtration and some low carbonation. Not exactly sure what to make of this beer and wouldn’t mind having another shot to rate this beer.
