Aus der Flasche (bbe 21.09.2021) im 2024-03 getrunken. Dieses schwarzbraune Schwergewicht kommt ähnlich wie ein Barley Wine mit einem kräftigen Getreidearoma und eine feine Sauerteig?-Säure daher. Dazu kommt ein Kirschkern Aroma. Auch nach der langen Zeit hat es noch eine deutlich Süße, wovon sich aber sicherlich schon einiges davon während die Flaschenlagerungen abgebaut hat. Ein spannendes Bier!

(Draught at Hopfenreich, Berlin, 21 Apr 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, hay, grass and dough. Malty taste with bread, grass, hay and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight malt sweetness. Clean and well balanced pilsener. Quite nice.

Keg at Hopfenreiche, Berlin, 22/07/22. Clear golden amber with a decent lasting white cap. Nose is pale malts, grains, cereals, bready tones, herb. Taste comprises pale malts, biscuit, herb, mellow fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Top notch refreshing and flavoursome Helles.
