Quite dark brown. Thin head. The aroma is roasty. On the palate, also roasty, toasty, some unfermented sugars but otherwise sweetish. Good balance. Similar to Guinness non-alcoholic in that it hits some good stout notes but it is also obviously a non-alc.

Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Nothing on the nose. Flavour is surprisingly yeasty for a west coast with no discernable hop character. Is this city competing for the least interesting IPA?

On tap at Brass Monkey. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Pale malts and grass on the nose. Flavour has cracker malts and dry grass. Not as crisp as I'd want a pilsner to be; it's okay.

Hazy amber. Not much head. It's worty on the nose, and maybe a bit of piney hop on the palate. Decent bitterness, but the malt definitely comes across worty as hell. This makes it a decent non-alc, in terms of having good bitterness, but not a whole lot comes together here.

Hazy, dull and fairly dark. Medium bitterness, not much here, a bit yeasty. First beer from them under the new name and they've already lost the plot.
