Draught Good, persistent off-white head over metallic, if veiled golden beer. A truckload of meatesters. Mincemeat, sausages and pharmaceuticals - as sparandrap. Gradually the nose reveals 1,4 vinylguaiacol. Clove, guaiacol in the mouth. This is some German Weizen, which lost its way in a hazy American idea of Hainault. Utterly slick, medium carbonation, well-bodied. Saison? Please! Imagine drinking this whils you're mowing a field in summer. Definitely not good.

13 September 2025. At 17de Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to the whole crew!
Peach, pineapple, plum. Sweet peach & mandarin. Floral hops, bitter citrus pith. Nothing special, just decent.

Draught Good, yellowish, dense head, lacey, over (cold) hazy redbrown beer. Dry hopbales, autumn leaves, lupulin, citrus. Very faintly ashes. Sourish, faint bitterness, and again those faraway if present ashes. In the background, sweetness, partly malty, partly woody, partly chocolate. Then reverting to almost (galvanic) acidity. Light body, slick, good carbonation. Aftertaste sports some straw, some resin. More than decent. This is no longer homebrew - but where have the brewed it?
