0,33 l bottle from Edeka, Lechtingen. Unclear amber in the glass, nearly two finger pale beige head. Smells pale fruity, hopy. Taste is pale malty, some present hop, not a lot, smooth. Fruity elements in the second part. Easy drinking stuff but better than most of its category.

0.33 l bottle from 'Biermuda', best before February 2018. Hazy, dark red to dark brown with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, some nuts and a touch of raisins. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of caramel, nuts, some chocolate and hints of raisins, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay.

Fläschchen (0,0033hl): Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, big, creamy and stable off-white head; toasted malt with a tinge of caramel, some fruits and herbal hops in the nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite smooth, quite light bodied; ashy traces in the drier and more bitter finish. Well balanced and tasty Schwarzbier...
