Can from Kaufland Poljička, Split, shared with heavy. Clear golden body, white head. Herbal, vegetal, creamy aroma, light apple.wha? Lean, dry taste, grainy, sweetish, lightly oxidized cookie maltiness. Mleh, it's definitely a helles but one that might have seen better days, even if it wasn't the best ever to begin with.

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a rich and lacing white head. Discreet malty nose. Medium body, clean and fairly dry maltiness with a subdued bitterness. Clean yet very bland. 280924

0.5 l can as Leon Steiner 7.2% Strong Beer. Shared with the Jolly Rogers at the recording session. Dark golden to amber colour, small off-white head. Lean grainy malty aroma, some caramel and toasted bread. Rough malty, spice, some alcohol. Medium body, moderate carbonation, some warmth, some bitterness in the finish. Not unpleasant.

0.5 l can from a local Kaufland store in Zagreb, shared with the Jolly Rogers during a recording session. Unclear golden, small off-white creamy head. Aroma is fruity, ripe fruit, ripe banana, some ripe strawberry, some candy. Quite a lot of strawberry lingers. Flavour is sweet fruity, some strawberry, some banana candy, some peach. Light grainy background, light herbal background. Very soft bitterness. A bit too sweet. Soft texture and carbonation, medium body, abrupt rather sweet finish.

As Stephans Bräu Hefe-Weißbier alkoholfrei. A 0.5 l can from a local store in Zagreb. Unclear golden, small to medium rocky white head. Lasting, good retention. Aroma is malty, lightly fruity, some candy and soap. Smooth, light, moderate carbonation. Light metallic, banana candy and malty flavour. Light bitterness. Abrupt rather sweet finish. Quite lousy.
