Description
Banging Cider From Unloved Apples

We take unloved fruit and make bespoke cider you’ll love. Our unique company bottles small batches, which means you the drinker get to experience the wildness and variety of the local fruits.

Quote: “ Its like being at a cider festival. Every bottle you drink is slightly unique!”

Adam and family have always shared a love for the outdoors, creativity and making things out of discarded stuff. Moving back North was the change they needed to start something new.

With a FUCK IT attitude they decided to give it a go!

The Plan: To make bottles of limited-edition cider, and work with artists to make limited edition bottle designs blurring the boundaries between booze and art.

Wild apples (or crap apples) are the original wild apple trees: the trees from which all varieties of apples were developed. After planting a small orchard Adam knew he needed more apples to realise commercial success so reached out to the local community to supply unwanted apples.

500ml bottle from Bier Huis. Slightly hazed orangey gold colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, funk. Taste is sweetish, fruity, appley, tangy, citrus, woody, with earthy funk hints, some acidity and soft tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium drying fruity finish. Quite drinkable.
