0.33 l bottle from 'Getränke Kosmol', best before April 2025. Clear, amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit alcoholic aroma of caramel, stewed apple, honey and raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity and a little alcoholic taste of caramel, stewed apple, calvados, honey, vanilla and light raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting amber Bock, quite unusual flavours, not unpleasant at all.

23/7/2022. Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers, shared at the ITFC pre-season gathering. Pours clear amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, golden syrup, bread, stewed fruit, touch of apple. Quite sweet, light bitterness. Medium body, creamy, average carbonation. Starchy finish. Not the best today.

Golden pour with a small head, very faint aroma of malt, light tastes of malt and gras/herbs. Ok, but not very remarkable...

330ml bottle. Clear, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Grainy, bready malty and slightly yeasty doughy aroma, hints of crisp bread, white bread, weak, grassy, minieral overtones. Taste is grainy, bready malty, bitter hoppy, hints of crisp bread, white bread, doughy yeasty overtones, grassy and minimally citrusy hoppy aspects as well, subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Not too doughy, nicely hopped - OK.

Brown with a thin, frothy head. Aroma of lemonade and caramel with a hint of roasted grains. Taste is bittersweet, a mix if sugar, caramel, lemon-citric, and roasted grain bitterness. Lingering lemon. The beer is still discernible here, which puts this a step above most Radlers. Medium bodied, slightly watery texture, balanced carbonation. First ever dark Radler and, given the limitations of the style, not a bad one.

Gold with a frothy white head. Aroma a mix of grains and lemon lime. Taste is the highlight because, unlike most of the overly sweet concoctions in this style, I can actually taste some semblance of the beer. On the whole still mildly, sugary sweet but with noticeable grainy bitterness underneath, particularly at the finish. Body to the lighter side of medium, balanced carbonation. Good for the style.
