bottle from Galerie Piva near Charles Bridge, Prague. Clear golden colour, large white head. Shy hoppy nose. Grassy hoppy start reminding me of South German Pils beers with Tettnang hops, very flowery. The middle part and finish are full of Bohemian character, though. Bitter-sweet with good malty accents and a dry and hoppy finish with lovely Saaz elements. There is a shy marzipane hint in the finish. Very nice!

Bottle, 6.0%. Clear brown colour. OK stable tan head. The flavour starts off quite sweet. Gets roasted with a rough bitterness. There is quite a lot of caramel in the flavour and finish.

Bottle, 4.6%. Mildly sweet aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Big semi-stable brown head. The flavour is nicely sweet at first, turning creamy with a roasted finish. Gets a bit too sweet towards the end, but I managed to finish it without any problems.

Yaaay I got to add the brewery and the beer and be the first one to rate it even though it’s from another country. Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Poured an extremely dark brown, black almost body with a thick off white head that went away slowly. A pleasant nose, coffee, roast, some light caramel, sweetish. The tase is sweet, with almost sugary notes of caramel. Some roast and some weak weak lemony notes round things up. Sweet but not assertive and a very pleasant surprise.
