From in Brno 12.12.14 with HDI. Clear golden. Foamy, dense and persistent white head. Aroma of Czech hops, grass and flower fields. Similar taste, with succade and good bitterness. Well balanced and very quaffable.

Keg at GBBF ’14, day 4, 15/08/14 as Chotebor Dark. Dark mahogany meets chestnut brown with a moderate light beige covering. Nose is toffee, dark malts, light hop notes, touch of spice. Taste comprises treacle toffee, light cocoa dusting, candied sugars, dark fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent dunkel.

Keg at the Euston tap. Dark clear / ruby red coloured pour with a lasting halo of light greyish cream head. Aroma is sweet caramel, some buttery diacetyl, and butterscotch. Flavour is caramel and toffee malts, again some diacetyl on the tongue. Palate is quite sweet, highish carbonation. Under attenuated. Little bit of apple and raisin fruits linger in the finish. Disappointing.
