Keg at Pivzavod (Buiucani), Chişinau. Clear deep golden, mid sized head. Doughy grainy nose. Mid dry with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bread, mild butter and grass. Fresh this is a fully functional old school lager. 5/4/5/4/10 Old rating from 2008. Bottled. Finally - one of my most sought after beers! Pours hazy golden with lively creamy head. Citric nose. Light bodied with creamy malt. Citric and fresh, most likely past it’s prime (after all it’s a zhivoe pivo), but who cares? 3/2/4/3/7
