Bottle shared by dnicolaescu - many thanks! It pours clear golden yellow with a medium white had. The nose is grassy, sweet dough, spice, light earth and faint citrus. The taste is lime, lemon, grainy, dough, hay and faint sherbet with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Really actually not that bad. OK pale lager.

Thanks to Boystout for arranging this amazing trip, and for helping me to bribe the border guards to get home. Bottle. Clear golden yellow color, small white head. Aroma of citrus, straw, white pepper. Taste is plain straw with a medicinal and metallic aftertaste. Weak body. Definitely the best Transnistrian beer I’ve had so far!

Golden-amber. Thin head. Aroma is a bit buttery, as per CCCP. A little bit toasty, some light diacetyl. Ok, for a Soviet-style brew.
