Bottle, 6.8%. Lagery aroma, sweet, caramelly and slightly alcoholic. Clear dark golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off with a little caramelly note. Turns to an OK rough bitterness and finishes with an uncompromising alcohol note.

Bottle:Golden, mid-sized fluffy white head; sweetish-grainy nose; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; short bitter-sweet finish with a light alcoholic tinge. Pleasant, but not exciting Bock.......

(33cl bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet biscuity malty and subtle fruity aroma with a shy floral and herbal hoppy touch. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt character with notes of biscuits and again the subtle fruitiness, accompanied by a shy hoppy touch; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish. Pretty average but pleasant to drink (24.VI.09).

Bottle. Golden orange, low, quickly dissipating head. Light honey aroma, sweet malt, a few berries, grainy, slightly sticky. Not exactly chewy, medium body. Ok balance, but quick finish.

Bottle. Light bready nose. Dark golden, champagne carbonation, off-white cream. Sweet honeyish, perfumed retronasal, heather honey, subtle, but lovely. Low on bitterness, but well balanced to the chewy malt base.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear deep golden colour, large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, intensively malty, but nmot too sweet. Rounded off by aromatic and bitter hops, which results in a bitter-sweet character. The hops are blended in the background, so the overall character is dominated by delicious malt flavours.

Bottle. Spicy heather, honeyroast aroma. Red amber, low cream. Good malty start, roast, honey, herbal spicyness. Grassy finish. Honeyish retronasal. Chewy, sparkly mouthfeel, medium to light body. Nice and moreish.

VIelen Dank, der Doppelbock! Small, dense, off-white head over golden beer with faint coppery shine. Hot, sundried grain and hot worts. Very faintly grassy, or more outspoken hay. Rather bitterish onset, with crisp cookie malts following suit. Dry finish. Absence of bittering hops, but a noble EU-hops thumbprint is undeniable. Dry, nearly medium bodied. Very nice beer, one I could keep drinking.

Vielen Dank, der Doppelbock! Deep yellow-golden beer, medium white head. Sec, dry pale malts aroma. Some honey and wafts of milk, on the verge of clotting. Fiery scorched malts taste, again very dry, with only slowly upcoming sweetness. Bit cornflakes-like. Palate rather empty, warming up more sweetness; light to medium bodied, lightly slick MF. Average Bock; not too sweet, at least.
