Bag in a box from the producer's own stand at the Witney Christmas Market. Rich deep gold in colour, this was a tad on the sweet side of medium with honeyed caramel up front. Lovely smooth mouthfeel. There was a hint of tannin, and a touch of funk and dryness. It lacks complexity, but it's satisfying and goes down a treat. Enjoyed it, yum.

750ml wired cork bottle from Cat in the Glass. Opened with a loud pop. Batch 23042. Sparkling, golden colour, foamy white head and aroma of apple, fruit, funk hint. Taste is crisp, sweetish, appley, fruity, with a citric note, alittle funk, some acidity and light tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying acidity finish. Nicely drinkable.
