Brauerei Neunspringe owns 1 brewery:
Description
The brewery was founded in 1867 as the Dampfbrauerei Carl Kuntze. Later the name was changed into "Brauerei Neunspringe" on an old field name which in turn is derived from nine springs in the source area of the Hahle, from which the brewery draws its spring water. The brewery survived the war and stayed in the hand of the Kuntze family. But in 1953 the brewery was confiscated and transferred to a state-owned company, a situation that lasted till the end of the GDR. After a trust agency period by the Treuhandanstalt, the company became in a private limited company (GmbH) again in 1994.

500ml bottle. Clear, darkest brwon colour with ruby red glimmer and average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Dubious aroma, hints of dark malt, grain, pumpernickel, treacle, malt lozenge, a cautious touch of Mettwurst. Taste is artificially sweet, sugary, hints of rock sugar, artificial sweetener, pumpernickel, treacle: luckily not that sticky. Another example of that strange East German Porter interpretation

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy aroma with a spicy bready touch. Taste is grassy and slightly metallic bitter hoppy, weak pale malty background, subtle sweetness. Cheerless Protestant dishwater.

0,5 l botte from kappldav123. Big thank you! Clear golden in the glass, one finger white fine foamy head. Smooth one, malty, grainy, caramell, low bitterness, little bit grassy sourness. Taste is more like a Export than a Pilsener.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Black in the glass, small beige head. Malt and low chocolate on the nose. Taste is more smooth, light toasted malt, little bit dark fruits, little bit hop, licoruce, some choco hints. But no real big taste.

0,5 l botttle. Big big thank you to kappldav123. Murky dark orange in the glass, medium foamy white head. Dry wheaty nose. Starts with a lot of yeast and wheat, dry, fruity banana in the background. Dry mid bitter aftertaste. Not a mainstream Hefeweizen, but interesting.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Sweetish cola beginning. Fruity. The artificial sweetener is covered nicely, but the beer is far away in the background. The fruity-sweetish cola is dominating the picture, probably a bit too sweet with (nearly) no beer.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Smooth fresh beginning. Hints of sourness, nice fruity yeast. A bit unround with a sourness that makes it highly drinkable, but that doesn’t fit for me really in the picture. Round and smooth aftertaste, yeast, hints of clove, sour fruitiness.
