Brauerei Neunspringe owns 1 brewery/brand:
Description
The brewery was founded in 1867 as the Dampfbrauerei Carl Kuntze. Later the name was changed into "Brauerei Neunspringe" on an old field name which in turn is derived from nine springs in the source area of the Hahle, from which the brewery draws its spring water. The brewery survived the war and stayed in the hand of the Kuntze family. But in 1953 the brewery was confiscated and transferred to a state-owned company, a situation that lasted till the end of the GDR. After a trust agency period by the Treuhandanstalt, the company became in a private limited company (GmbH) again in 1994.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fine yeasty aroma. Starts malty-yeasty, not too dry. Fruity notes of apricot and peaches, mild sweetish notes. Well balanced finish, still fine malty-yeasty, very drinkable. A good one!

Grainy sweetish nose. The beer starts grainy and dry. Malty-grainy with a intense but plain bitterness. Lots of grain, very dry. The aftertaste is grainy-malty, very dry and quite bitter without any floral aroma. Not too deep and very grainy.

Grainy-malty nose, fresh. The beer starts malty-dry. Slightly sourish, easy drinkable with lots of dry roasted malt. Hazelnuts, chestnuts, hints of dry liquorice. The aftertaste is nice dry malty, hints of nuts, roasted malt, nice moderate bitterness. A nice and round Schwarzbier!

Clear dark brown colour, small fizzy off-white head, recedes quickly, fair lacing. Aroma strong malty, caramel, cacao, chocomel. Heavy sweet malty taste. Lght body, watery/milky texture, soft carbonation, finish sweet sugary, hint of bitterness. Not bad for a malzbier but not my thing, I think you have to grow up with this kind of beer to really appreciate it.
