Brauerei Neunspringe owns 1 brewery:
Description
The brewery was founded in 1867 as the Dampfbrauerei Carl Kuntze. Later the name was changed into "Brauerei Neunspringe" on an old field name which in turn is derived from nine springs in the source area of the Hahle, from which the brewery draws its spring water. The brewery survived the war and stayed in the hand of the Kuntze family. But in 1953 the brewery was confiscated and transferred to a state-owned company, a situation that lasted till the end of the GDR. After a trust agency period by the Treuhandanstalt, the company became in a private limited company (GmbH) again in 1994.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass amber coloured, almost no head. Roasty malty aroma. Starts mild, fine roasty-malty, mild sweetness. Some hints of caramel, some cocoa, some chocolate. Finish with some herbal-malty notes. Well balanced. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a lacing, off-white head. Sweet, colaish nose. Cloyingly sweet caramel maltiness. No bitterness at all. “Nach alter Rezeptur” and all that bullshit. Please burn that recipe. 130723

Bottle, highe thanks to kappldav123! Deep black with a tall beige head. Shy but pleasant malty sweetness, not as dry as your average Schwarzbier, quite full-bodied with some earthy hops in the finish.
