500ml bottle from local shop. Clear deep golden colour, white foam head and aroma of sour yogurt & apple. Taste is sweet, juicy apple concentrate with cardboardy notes and a tart edge. Watery, light bodied, medium carbonation, some residual sweetness in the finish. OK.

Can courtesy of Helge (non-RB). Pours clear very pale greenish yellow with a fizzy white head that quickly dissipates without leaving any trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and fruity with crackers, pears, powdered sugar, pear popsicle and hints of unripe apples. Taste is very sweet and fruity with pears, crackers, cereal, pear popsicle, apple skins, hay, dry wood and hints of white sugar and cinnamon. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet, cloying sweet, tiny crisp, slightly round and light bodied. Finish is sweet and fruity with crackers, pears, hay, overripe apples and dry wood. A soft-drink full of all that delightful synthetic fruitiness.

Canned (4.5% abv, says produced at Saku Ölletehas AS, Tallinn). Yellowish golden colour, small head that vanishes quite fast. Aroma is some apples, mild wood and some slight syrupy notes. Flavour is quite sweetish apples along with some mild sweet wooden and resiny notes. Not that dry palate, but at the same time quite far from the worst of these "ciders".

Keg tap at the Golden Lion, Osmotherley, 04/10/13. Clear golden with a thin white head. Nose is light apple, sweet artificial apple. Taste comprises apple chews, sweet, orchard e numbers, light apple. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, crisp and sweet in the finish. Fairly refreshing but lacking, has mass produced and long life all over it !

Bottle from a supermarket, Ayia Napa, Cyprus. Clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, artificial apple, sugary and notes of Hubba Bubba apple flavored chewing gum. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. Sticky. 200913

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Carrefour. BBF 12/06/2014. Clear bottle. Lots of chemical stuff in the ingredient list. Poured into a big glass with ice cubes. Clear sparkling kid lemonade, insta-gone fizzy head. Smells basically like very sweet, white sugar, sweetened apple juice, Appletiser,… Sweet apple juice taste, odd somewhat bitter chemical sweeteners taste in the back, white sugar, more sweeteners, minerals, apple sweeteners, apple-flavoured soda, odd chemical sweetener aftertaste lingers on in the mouth, HFCS,… Cloying, sweeteners sticky body, crazy effervescent carbonation,… Could have been a good semi-aclopop, too bad about the persistent artificial sweeteners taste. Still not bad for an alcoholic white sugar etc. sweet apple juice soft drink. I prefer personally Appletiser.
