Since the launch of Somersby in 2008, we like to think we have taken the world by storm. We went from 1 to over 50 markets in less than 10 years, and despite our short history, have become the biggest international cider brand in the universe.

Can from the duty free shop at the Copenhagen airport, shared with heavy. Poured a clear body tinged with yellow, heh. Stale nose, brown sugar and elder. Sticky sugary sweet taste, some elder, some stale notes reminiscent of vodka typical of Somersby. The elder notes are nice, but drowned in dissolved sugar. Too sweet for sumer and as such, fail.

Can. No head. Color is pale yellow. Aroma and taste are apples, sugar that hides the alcohol. Not as sweet as the regular somersby.

Sample from a 0.33l bottle courtesy of a friend (thanks!) Yellowish colour, not much head. Sweet appley nose, fresh. Soft sweet appley taste, too sweet, similar, oh too similar to the regular one only with less alcoholic hints, yay. Ok.

0.33l can in Denmark. Pale yellow body with a small white head. Slightly subdued sweet appley taste. Soft, smooth, oily sweet appley taste. Like a less sweet regular Somersby Apple.

Can. Yellow colour. Moderate apple aroma. Light sweet and semi dry moderate apple flavor. Average finish. watery palate and too fizzy. Boring but not bad cider.

33cl can. Copenhagen. Forced to drink crap due to current circumstances. Improvement needed tomorrow :) Pear candy nose, slightly stale. Soapy candy pear taste, actually kinda likable in an artificial way. And it runs the shitty tempt to the ground. So yay. Better than the apple version we have in Croatia. But that all doesn’t say much. A typical Nordic candy cider.

33 cl can. Clear pale yellow with no head. Flavour is sweet, apple, little citrus, watery and a little dry. Not as extremely artificial sweet as other Somersby I have tasted.

Can. A clear drink, slightly colored but only a little pale yellowish touch. Flat. Flowers, fluorine tooth paste, glue meant for glueing wood and a little fruity touch. Pretty awful. The flavor isn’t much better. Sweet, flowery and fluorine-like. Sticky, thin mouthfeel, like chewing wet cardbard with syrup. Terrible finish with flowers and a pear or apple like fruityness. This is by far the most horrible drink I’ve ever had. 100407
