Sample from a bottle, ØK 13. Dark amber in body colour, crystal clear. Pale malty nose alongside a mild spicy touch. Dried fruity taste on a moderate dry, chili backbone. Chili ending, not overdone. Satisfying (Copenhagen 25.05.2013).

Poured from a bottle at ØK 13. Bright, amber coloured body. Sweet citrus on the nose. Semi-sweet, citrus taste, rather bland impression. Short lived bitter ending. Unvaried and below par for the style (Copenhagen 25.05.2013)

Sample from a bottle at Ølfestival København 13. Clear golden coloured body. Dotted spots to the glass. Grass hoppy to the nose with hints of rum. Sweet spiced fruity flavours added by rum touch. Rather diluted in the mouth. Possible to drink. The whisky version was better (Copenhagen 25.05.2013).

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Golden colour, not too much head. Aroma is fruity, toffeeish, caramelly with some mild wood and other sweet notes. Flavour is rupe fruits, some mild zest and a bit of toffee. The rum comes in very mellowly and also brings along some mild spicyness.

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is mild wood, vanilla and mild whisky sweetness. Flavour is fruity, wooden, floral and some mild toffee along with mild vanilla and whisky sweetness. Not sure how long this has been in whisky barrells (or how much whisky was poured in), but it feels like a small amount or too short time.

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Deep amber colour, small beige foamy head. Aroma is chili, liquoice, some sweet malts. Flavour is sweet liquorice, some spices and quite sugary. Long smooth chili burn in the aftertaste, but definitively not a palateburner with the chili. Quite elegant balance.
