Backlog October 2013. Clear, deep amber body under a moderate sized off-white head. Aroma has a hint anise and unfortunately quite district wet cardboard. Taste is sweet malt with licorice and diastyle. Medium body and same faulty aftertaste. Still drinkable but even overlocking the fault it’s still not a very exiting beer.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear dark amber coloured brew with an fine bitter taste and its give an warmy feel in the mouth, the cognac is there but hard too find.

Aroma: Malt with caramel an slight nuts. Flavour: Malty sweet with caramel. Aftertaste is malty sweet with caramel and a hint of nuts. Colour: Reddish brown with an offwhite head. From: Bottle @ Egeskov gift shop.

0,33l bottle from Egeskov. Clear amber brown beer with quickly totally vanishing head. Aroma has caramel malts, flavor too. Flat, neither head nor carbon. Mild, sweet, nothing special, but drinkable though.

Bottle from yespr, thanks! Malt and brown sugar in the aroma. Sugary sweet flavor with caramel, apple syrup, maltose and some lactic notes. Sticky and unpleasant aftertaste.

Bottle from Yespr, thanks! Dark brown color. Mon chéri bionbons and apple syrup in the aroma. Sweet flavor with apple syrup. Hard to pick up the chili. In the aftertaste maybe? Pineapple sweetness with some walnuts.

Aroma: pretty fruity sweet with cognac notes. Flavour: very sweet with caramel notes and ripe berries. An aftertaste like cognac and butter. Colour: light brown with an offwhite head.
