Hazy dark red - brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is fresh, semi dry and a little crispy. Malt has traces of caramel and smoke. Mild nuts. Fresh minerals. Whisper of citrus hops. Finishes crisp and dry with a carbonated sting. Fresh minerally malty beer.

Purchased this from ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores Londis shop, Goring-on-Thames 28.06.13 consumed outside Frank (camper) at Holycombe campsite, Whichford, nr Shipston-on Stour the same day. Pours hazy gold with white head. Fruity nose, little bit of bile on aroma. Quite soft in mouth, initially I wasn’t a fan of this, too sweet, lacks a real bite and bitterness, however it grows and there is a little dryness. I wish it could have been half as good as the Kernel I’ve just had but sadly it lingers some way back. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov11 2.9

Bottled (from AbM). Slightly hazy amber colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral with some zesty notes as well as some caramel and sweet malts. Flavour is caramel malts, some fruity and floral notes along with pleasant grassy notes. Also quite crisp maltyness to it, which makes it feel very fresh.
