Can from Tbone, thanks! Pale golden color. Hazy. Soft floral aroma. Floral grainy flavor with hints of citrus and apple.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with wood barrels, medium roasted malt, and a hint of coffee. Flavour is huge on the whiskey barrels upfront, with harsh roasted malt, some espresso, and more wood. Whiskey-dominated, with a roasty finish. Excellent.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a deep, opaque black with a neat, light brown head. Roasty nose with distinct and pleasant coffee notes. Rich, malty, roast body. Can I taste the licorice? Well, maybe not so much, but the coffee comes through in a very distinct manner. Subtle late roasty bitterness - but just pleasant. Very well made. 290519

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a white head. Interesting, spicy nose - quite some cat pee, which I don't usually associate with Simcoe. Medium body, quite malty and sweet with a rather subdued bitterness. The aroma keeps it somewhat satisfying. 290519

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, deep amber with a small, beige head. Nose is nutty and caramellish with a hint of greasy hops - British? Rich, malty body, again plenty of crystal malt adding that delicious caramel touch, syrupy biscuits and nuts. But enough hops to avoid this cloying up. A delicious beer for malt lovers like myself. 290519

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, grayish golden with a small, white head. Vague, yeasty aroma with some fat wheat malt. Rich, fat body, sweet maltiness - almost syrupy. Again yeast and some banana notes with a subtle but balancing late hoppiness. It doesn't give much away in the aroma, but opens open quite beautifully. 290519

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with a fizzy, dissipating off-white head. Nose is nutty with a slight metallic twang. Medium body, fizzy, lightly smoky with a licorice touch and a hint of nuts. Rather sweet with close to no bitterness. Seems like an interesting blend of a Vienna-style Lager and a Porter – or something. 230519
