Bottle 500ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, vintage, sweet malt, sugary, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sugary, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20130427]

Bottle from Salling. Huge tan head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee, licorice and hops. Nice bitter finish. Little smoke present as well.

Bottle @ yespr. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel and dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty fruity caramel and dark fruit flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish with hints of dark fruit.

Fra flaske på Tap1 mai-13: sjelden jeg får anledning til å prøve øl fra Færøyane. Her ble det desverre litt for mye tjære og røyk til at jeg kunne nyte den ordentlig, selv om jeg er glad i porter.

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is nutty, liquorice, toffee and some mild smoked wet wooden notes. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some mild alcohol sweetness and mild leathery notes to it.
