On tap at the Faroe Islands tent at ONS 2012, Stavanger. Golden colour, low white head. Minimal aroma, some weak grainy notes. Bland flavour, grainy and dull. Minimal bitterness. Okkara can do so much better than this!

Bottle. Clear amber/orange with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit and caramel. Flavour is malt, fruit, caramel, spices, little sweet, hops, little acid, little bitter and a little watery.

Bottle. Pours black with a small but long lasting off white head. Smoked, porteresque sour aroma. Tar, coffee beans. Pretty smooth. Complex.

Bottle, thanks David! Pours dark brown with a choclatey brown head. Aroma of tarr and smoke. Taste of tarr pastils and sweet chocolate.

On tap at Ølfestival 2012. A clear, pale golden beer topped by a finger-thick, off-white head. Some alcohol on the nose, fruity and hoppy, with hay and some peppery notes. A bit warming on the palate, full-bodied and lightly bitter. Hay, fruityness and some faint peppery notes. Quite fruity finish with some bitterness. A decent one that didn’t ring any of my bells. 120510
