Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of spice, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours black and almost opaque with a creamy, lacing, beige head. Nose is a little metallic, rusty ashy - not so inviting. Rich, sweet, roasty malts, but I honestly don't get much licorice. Very subtle bitterness. A fairly decent strong Porter though. 200820

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a solid, off-white head. Biscuity malt aroma. Medium body, again biscuty and sweet caramel notes with a vague hint of earthy elderflower. Enough hops for balance. I quite enjoy this which is clearly more an Amber than a Golden Ale. 200820

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a lively and lacing white head with good retention. Fruity, refreshing aroma. Medium body, fruity and malty but also cloyingly sweet to a sickening degree with next to no hops to balance the sugars. Pity. 170820
