Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a solid, lacing, beige head. Roasty nose with a faint stint of oak. Thinnish body, some sweet chocolate and absolutely no trace of neither blackcurrant or Bourbon. Very timid finish with very little of everything. Not unpleasant, just....meh. 231123

Draught, 6.2% at Øllets dag, Kolding 2021. Caramelly and spicy aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small head. The flavour is bready worth a good brown sugar note. Slightly spicy. Clean. 636316

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear deep brown with an orange hue and a creamy, beige head. Nose is somewhat oxidized, cocoa and sweet licorice notes. Rich bodt, dark, dried fruits, a little roastiness, a little toast, but again also an oxidized, old feel to it. (The BB is August 2024). Little bitterness. Not horrible though. 050722

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a tiny, off-white head. Odd tart and buttery aroma - not exactly pleasant. Medium body, sweet caramelly malt - and that's it. Luckily the tartness remains in the nose only. Hardly any hop bitteness. 220622

0,5 l bottle from Kvickly, Varde. Nearly black in the glass with an huge and steady three finger frothy beige head. Fruity choco buttermilk aroma. Taste starts malty with some smoke, also berry or plum fruity sweetness. Very low to no carbonation. Little bit sticky to the end.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Nose is dominated by diacetyl and a hint of Belgian yeast. Medium body, surprisingly dry with quite some phenols and an underlying tartness. Odd lowish carbonation. 130622

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a beige head. Very odd nose of toffee, smoke and diacetyl - something clearly off here. Medium body, some dry caramel and toffee and again buttery. Hardly any bitterness. It can be drunk, but honestly I'd rather not. 130622

Bottle 50 cl. Pours black with an orange hue with a tiny, beige head. Solid malty nose. Rich, malty body, molasses but not overly sweet. There's some dark chocolate there, faint roastiness - but again, there's a vaguely underlying note of fustiness somewhere in there. However, still drinkable. A German may not recognize this as a Bock. 130622

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with next to no head - looks more like a Vienna. Sweet, malty nose, some caramel. Medium body, lowish carbonation. Malty, somewhat metallic. A fusty edge and a hoppy finish. 130622

Bottle, thx P.! Dark brown body, off-whtie head. Empty aroma, vague fruity notes. Empty but somewhat malty taste, light sweetness and dried fruti by the finish. Er... okay?
