Bottle, shared by Countbeer, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Roastaroma. Thin. Roasty flavor with hints of licorice. Sweet, slightly alcoholic. Nice but onedimensional.

Golden-brown. Really nice full-on malt nose, with lots of toffeeish sugars. A bit thinner on the palate, but again fresh, rich breadcrusty goodness. Warming finish, a nice bock.

Hazy pale straw without a lot of head. The aroma has light coriander, a touch of orange and maybe malt but that’s harder to find. Sweet up front then drying out a bit as the coriander and orange peel flavours start to dominate. It’s a bit thin and would probably benefit from more pale malt sweetness. Still, a basic, drinkable example.

Light amber, lots of caramel, some esters, bubblegum, not much bitterness and it also has a light body. Does not really come together.

Dark amber, bright, thin head. Aroma is mild, taste has a lot of toasty chewy malts, moderate hops, and a touch of fruity yeast character. Rich amber ale.

Cloudy amber with a thin head. Has a lot of grapefruit with a hit of chewy malt. Good brew, intense but quite drinkable.

Black color with almost no head. The roasted malt aroma is mild but nice. It has some roasted malt flavor, some dark chocolate, traces of liquorice and leather; it’s drier than expected. Not very imperial, but one-and-half stout.
