Bottle 33cl. form a local Dekamarkt supermarket @home poured into a chalice. Clear amber brown, short-lived fizzy off-white head, no lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, candy sugar, alcohol. Taste light light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, candy sugar, biscuit, some apple syrup, alcohol. Full-bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation, more bitterness in aftertaste, lingering roastiness, quite boozy too, not impressed but okay.
Maple compenseert maar typische smalle basis van een niet zo'n goede quad. #betshuntings.

Black with a beige head. Dark caramel and treacle aroma. Sweet taste with a low bitter sweet finish. Not as sweet overall as expected, which is a plus in my opinion.

33cl bottle (IBU 20) from brewpub Brouwerij Hoop. Head is medium, white, almost good retention. Colour is gold, light hazy. Aroma is light orange, bready, bit spicy, herbal touch. Taste is medium malty base, orange, bit grapefruit, bready touch, decent bitterness, ok, not bad yet nothing memorable.

33cl bottle (4,9%, IBU 22) from brewpub Brouwerij Hoop. Foam is medium, white, good retention. Colour is deep gold, light hazy. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, mango, lemon, bit passion fruits. Taste is medium malty base, simple orange, bit tropical fruits, soft carbonation, mineral touch, no so fruity as aroma, ok, bit bad.

Robijnrood bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig warm en fruitig zoet met iets van rozijn, wat peper en appelstroop. Heel goed.
