Light brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of sweet dried fruits. Finish is pleasantly dry though aided by the slightly warming alcohol.

33cl Bottle from AH. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of a typical Dutch Lentebock, spicy and sweet, fruity, pear. Flavour is medium sweet to sweet, spicy, pear, quite fruity, light grassy bitterness in the finish. Light bodied. Decent but oh so boring.

Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen. Roodbruin licht troebel bier met matig schuim. Aroma van houten karamel. Smaak is zoet en snoep achtig. Weinig nasmaak.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie1986, Inoven en Benzai. Het is een helder bruin bier met een dunne schuimkraag. Het heeft een vanille en rozijn achtige geur. De smaak is zoet, rozijn achtig en wT nootachtig.

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 31/10/2019 (about 5 months old now). Almost clear amber color, big frothy head. Aroma is slight spicy, bit cookie and some toast. Slight caramel sweetness, some rhummy booze, slight dry vanilla bean. Im glad the rum and vanilla are quite subtle, but perhaps even too subtle to notice. Lacks a bit of character now. --- Beer merged from original tick of Vanille-Rum Bock on 20 Mar 2018 at 21:22 - Score: 6. Original review text: Licht kruidig, wat karamel en toast. Subtiel qua additives, maar daardoor misschien ook wat kleurloos.

Bottle from Albert Heijn. Slight hazy golden with nice white head. Strawberries, dried raspberries, soft grapes, bready, caramel, bitter herbs, light citrus, pine needles, some funny bitter mineral or even metallic notes. Medium sweet and bitter. Body is also medium with nice over medium carbonation. It’s not bad, but the it’s not really what I’d expect from an East coast IPA at all, its like a golden ale with lots of berry hops and mediocre malts.
