Appearance: Cloudy dark golden color with a thick off white head that leaves a nice lacing.
Aroma: Sour aroma as it was brett in it.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a rich bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Malty, citric and sour. Well masked alcohol.
Overall impression: I do not think it was meant to have this sourness. The sourness is actually not that bad. But it destroyed most of the other flavor and aroma.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Grima

Bottle. Cloudy dark amber, low head, some floccolating yeast. Dry, slightly tart base, berry notes, light infection? Earthy hops, honey and resin retronasal. Not sure about the bottle condition it is a pleasant tartness, but I better get a fresh bottle to see if it was intentional.

0,33 l bottle, 21.03.2013. Pours pale dark orange and hazy in the glass. Nice white short living head. Low CO2. Very fruity on the nose, the announced tangerine and something I can not identify. Chilly? Burned plastic? Starts dry, bitter but even fruity on the second stage. To the end alcoholic and hop herb. Clearly more edged than the soft IPA from the same brewery. Own style! Try it!

33cl bottle pours with a slightly hazy copper body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up some citrus mixing with straight up soured fruit notes that have a tart edge like soured cherries. The taste is similar where clementine oranges, an odd mix of grapefruit and tart soured cherries all blend together. Interesting. There is some malty sweetness going on in there too but it ends like a soft wild ale aged on oranges and cherries. Odd yet interesting. I’m kind of digging it.

Bottle: Deep golden, cloudy, small stable off-white head, moderate hoppy, slightly vrassy nose with a balancing sweet-malty and fruity background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; dry grapefruity hops and distinctive honeyish traces in the lingering finish. Really a nice brew…
