Purchased at one tesco, south Bratislava,
during the last summer. Opening this can
at the end of the afternoon, busy family
day with a rather boring lager, light body,
smooth, malty, a bit sweet and metallic
with few bitterness at the final, bière de
soif.

500ml bottle. Teraz sie zmienilo i wychwycilem brak mojej oceny. Piana srednia malo trwala, barwa ciemna, brazowa z refleksami czerwieni. Fajnie cytrynka skontrowala ciemne piwo, nietypowe polaczenie i dlatego owczesnego czasu je zakupilem,

Plehovka from Billa supermarket in Slovakia six years ago.

Canned 500ml. -from Spar Krško. Darker brownish coloured, medium sized brown head (looks like proper dunkel), lemon and cardboard in the nose. Lemon, cardboard, strong burnt caramel and rather sweet finish. Hardly drinkable nor enjoyable.

0,5l can from Kaufland Bratislava-Rača. Head is medium, white, average retention. Colour is deep gold, clear. Aroma is malty, light hoppy, bit caramel. Taste is medium malty base, bit harsh herbal hoppy bitterness, bready, medium carbonation, some caramel, commercial all together.

Enjoyed directly from the can. Pale malt, Saaz hop. Light sweet. light to medium bitterness. Watery palate still somehow quenching.

50 cl bottle bought at Tesco, Bratislava. Just one more Pilsner tried at New Year’s Eve. Just like all Steiger beers it looks like they used water drained from a swamp to brew this beer.
