08/05 0.5 l bottle from Kuca piva beer shop, Zagreb. It poured dark reddish brown body with small head. Weak macro-ish dusty and caramel aroma. Sweetish flavor, caramel again, slightly fruity and dusty, with only a touch of roasted coffee that gives some acidity. Pretty thin bodied with shorter, sweetish dark malt finish. Typical macro dunkel, drinkable but not very good.

07/05 0.5 l bottle. It poured golden body with medium sized head. Flowery and grainy aroma. Sweetish grainy flavor, so typical, sweetish, with a bit of fine herbal bitterness. Medium bodied. Long sweetish finish, pretty boring with slight acidity, similar to corn, though it shouldn’t contain any. An average lower-end bohemian pils, that is usually hardly discernible from upper-end pale lagers.

Trinkbar & unscheinbar. 5/6/6/5/4/5

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko/heavy, shared with them.
Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, dusty grainy nose. Malty, grainy and light cardboard with mild herbal notes. Touch of glue in rather bitter finish. Average East European lager.

Bottle from the Kuća Piva in Zagreb. The last beer of the last night of the tasting. Poured a dark copper body with a slightly smaller than average off white head that persisted. Malty, slightly cidic nose, some dust, not that impressive. Sweet maltiness dominates the taste, slightly oily and that’s it, no more, no less. NOt the worst beer around but a slightly unfitting end to the epic (for Croatia) 3-day 46 beer tasting. But hey.

Bottle from the Kuća Piva in Zagreb, shared with heavy and ogivlado. Poured a golden body with a medium sized white head. Grainy creamy nose, kinda nice, bit dusty. Sweet malty grainy fine taste, very light bitterness, not a bad lager, not a particularly good one.
