Bottled 500ml. -from random Billa Bratislava. Yellow/golden coloured, small white head, few streams of carbonation, odd yoghurty lactic nose. Sweet malty, slight yeasty and cardboard with grainy notes. Quite odd and unbalanced beer but also one of the better 8’s I’ve tried.

0.5l bottle (I think) brought from Bratislava by ogivlado who shated it with me (thanks!) Poured a golden body with a small white head. Exactly like the two other Slovak beers I’ve had before it. Eh. Unlike those, the nose here was quite strong, dry yoghurty and malty. Odd though and the taste was no different, creamy, yeasty, malty, some bitterness, wood and cardboard. Slightly fishy and soapy, odd, got worse as the glass got more empty. Quite daring for an 8° beer, but not the greatest thing around.

Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt and caramel with a touch of diacetyl. Sweet caramel malty flavour with a slightly roasted finish. Somewhat thin mouthfeel.

Bottle as Steiger Gold. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate maltya nd læight hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Shrt light bitter finish. Watery palate. Not much bohemian over this.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Steiger Gold Premuim Lager ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, acrid malt, mistreated malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and acrid bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091114]

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, coffee, brown sugar, smoke - meat notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy brown sugar sweet and moderate rosated malt bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091004]

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a thin light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as hints of butter. The flavor is very sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also lighter notes of malt and straw, the latter leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and dark breadish. Dark breadish and caramelish. Medium sweetness and dark breadish roasted. Light metallic and roasted malty flavoured finish.
