Bottled (from Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Very pale yellow colour, no head. Aroma is citrus, some mild rice wine and a bit dusty and strange sweet notes to it. Flavour is quite interesting, as it has a big palate and mouthfilling feeling to it even when sipping, but there is no real flavour behind the feeling. The aftertaste then again gets a bit earthy, some boiled rice, a bit alcohol and quite strong on the floral notes. As it does warm up a bit, it does get almost a slight vanillaish kick to it.

Bottle shared. Pours milky white. Aroma of light vanilla, coconut, light milky, rice pudding. Flavour is light moderate sweet with a nice rice pudding, light nutty and light alcohol palate. Medium bodied.

Pull top bottle from Bine & Vine. Aroma is fruity with alcohol. Pours clear as water. Rather thick. Flavor is sweet, fair amount of heat, rice and hints of fruit. No fusil oils, which is a good thing. It’s an interesting change from beer.

Bottle at home grabbed this small bottle last minute in addition to the sake I really wanted. Pours crystal with slight copper highlights. Nose is grainy and alcoholic. Tastes of grains, flowery, light melon, lots of rubbing alcohol. Bland and harsh.

Bottle while grabbing quick lunch. Pours very opaque white. Nose is fruity and of rice. Tastes of strawberries, pineapple, honey dew, egg whites, rice, and coconut water. Touch starchy on palate but goes down smooth and hides abv. Nice summer sake

Grabbed bottle on way home from work just to continue my sake kick. Pours relatively clear with thinish tinge of iron. Nose is perfume, melon, and rice. Tastes floral, of unripe honey dew, watermelon, cocunut, rice, slightly herbal and medicinal. Overall touch flat but drinkable.

1.8 liter bottle, given as a gift, and opened about 10 months later. Nose of caramel, milk, yogurt, rice. Relatively unimpressive. Clear and light looking. Sweet, light caramel and rice, alcohol, some peach and melon. Simple but not bad. Body also fairly solid. Nothing special, but more drinkable than I expected.

Bottle from Liquor Mountain. Clear, bubble, a bit like Sprite. Rice and koji nose, fruity, dusty, not particularly offensive, but a bit boring. Lemon-lime flavor, like 7-Up but a bit dryer, a bit of ester and cream. Melon. Sweet but not offensively so. Dryish finish. Not terrible like most of this ilk, just boring and lame. Rather reminds me of mineral water.

Bottle shared at Sushi Morikawa, The Hague. Pours light clear yellow. Aroma is floral, vanilla, rice sugar, fruits and alcohol. Flavour is over moderate sweet bringing out the same aspects with a light pepperyness and alcohol but in a pleasant way. Really enjoyable.
