720 ml screwcap bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 12%. Hazy pale yellow to straw colour, no carbonation. Pleasant aroma of yuzu fruit and plums, hints of rice and mushrooms in the background. The flavour has the same elements, notes of alcohol in the somewhat dull finish.

300 ml bottle. Somewhat faint nose of ginjo-ka spice, citrus, rice. Clear, slightly viscous. Sweet and spicy with rich rice, stone fruit, light tropical fruit: orange, papaya, a bit funky, which adds interest. Medium to full body. Nice enough.

150 ml blue bottle. Clear, crystalline. Nose of citrus, apple, rice, bit of apricot or nectarine. Slight cedar notes. Flavor is a bit sweet, rich rice, koji/fermentation notes, citrus. Rather light and crisp up front with a bit of heaviness in the finish. Finish is honey, koji, stone fruits. Decent stuff, good drinking. Not so surprising.

Taster at Aburacho. A bit yellowish, surprisingly. Nose is caramel, vanilla, a bit toasty rice. Thick and sweet with caramel. A bit dull, and seems older than your typical Autumn hiyaoroshi.
Fantastic smooth fragile beginning. Very soft with lots of fragile sweetish fruitiness. Round and fruity pears and banana-melon. Fruity fragile and sweetish round in the end.

Glass at Shiori Bukkoji. This is the unpasteurized nama version. Slightly yellow and oily. Fresh cream butterscotch nose, caramel, vanilla, yogurt. Huge, crazy butterscotch flavor, apple, yogurt, enormous yamahai thing goinig on with great acidity and tons of lactic acid, though the nama aspect kind of clashes with it in a fun way. Normally this would be warmed, but of course as a nama it is meant to be consumed chilled. Like a rice cream sundae!

300 ml bottle. Clear, oily, icy. Rich rice nose, clean, slightly spicy cedar, a bit of ripe apple and partly ripe apricot. Flavor is slightly spicy with cedar notes and rich rice. Light sweetness with hints of ripe stone fruits. Very refined and reserved. Full, silky body. Like this one.

Bottle at Seito Sushi in Orlando, living out of hotel for next week without wife and kid so expect plenty of rates. Cool blue bottle. Clear pour thicker looking in glass. Leggy. Nose is melon and wood. Tastes of wood, melon, vanilla, some grass, cobwebs. Thick bodied. Good value.

Taster. Sweet and sour sake designed to go with meat. Sweet and sour flavor, pineapple, a bit lactic, some yogurt. Crisp and tasty, and nicely tart.

720 ml bottle. Spicy and flowery nose, citrus blossoms, rice. Sweet and fruity, very light and thin, too sweet and fruity. There is some of the ginjoka, but really this is a crappy daigin (but I could have predicted that from the \950 price!) I think they used table rice.
