Bottle, Wegmans. Slightly hazy clear with a hint of gold in there, no carbonation. Light mint, cucumber, rice aroma. Flavors are exactly the same... A little gritty. A bit sweet too.

Bottle, Wegmans. It's not light blue not beige. Murky white, no carbonation. Nose is coconut water, coconut flesh, rice, vanilla. Flavor is coconut milk, shredded coconut, rice, vanilla, light floral notes. Lightly sweet. Nice flavor.

9/6/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours fizzy, settled clear with no colour but with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is refresher fruit sweets, sweet fragrant rice, and lemonade notes. Medium plus sweetness. Oily/sticky texture. Quite carbonated. Sweet finish. Liked it but not entirely sure why.

300ml blue bottle. Very pale yellow colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of fruits, rice, sherbert, floral citric. Taste is sweet, fruity, rice, tangy, drying, sherberty, citric. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, sweetish finish. Quite OK.

Triangle bottle from World Market. Clear, hint of color, no carbonation (none expected). Aroma is rice, sweat, alcohol. Flavor is alcohol, rice, glue. Not too much to this. Bottle's going back in the fridge.

Triangular bottle, resealable and will be shoved back in the fridge after a sample. This is no longer silver - it's a white bottle and the official website description best matches this version. Purchased at World Market. Pours just off-clear (hint of tinting in the liquid). Flat, no carbonation (none expected). Aroma is rice, sweat, alcohol, light fruit (pear?). Flavor is rice, alcohol, light fruit. Unfortunately it's rather plain and not enough of the rice/sake flavors come through. Back to the fridge it goes to be pulled out at a later date.

720 ml bottle from Yamaya, cracked before New Year's celebrations to make my rating easier. Long time since having Yado. Pours clear, slightly oily, slightly icy. Nose is rice, koji and ginjo-ka, pears, light apricots. Smooth, full body, medium sweetness, nice combination of rice, fruit, spicy koji. Finishes quite dry, with a touch of alcohol burn. Solid.
