Bottled, huge thanks Iznogud for sharing! Clear body. Nice aroma, slightly "moldy" rice, herbal notes. Sweet clean sake taste, lightly herbal, lightly alcoholic, but quite okay overall, liked it!

Crystal clear, leggy, faint metallic pale gold tinge.

Minty sweet syrup, banana, licorice, clove, new grass, rice water.

Medicinal, yeasty, earthy, bittersweet, unsweetened cake.

Slick, coating, boozy, otherwise uninspiring.

Glass at Sakagura for unexpected lunch couldnt resist the Koshu tick. Quite clear with slight tinge. Very smooth and not really all that aged tasting like the other Koshu I had. Flowery, with hint of basement taste, coconut, papaya, and very clean. hint of medicinal on the finish.

Vinous rice malt and alcohol aroma. Clear water appearance - hint of yellow. Sweet grape and rice malt flavor. Nice body. Very smooth and tasty.

Bottle, shared by thedm at the RBSG grand tasting. I didn’t write down the date specifically, but it was not very old. Mild. Nice, smooth, mellow aroma. Very smooth, sweet, soft flavor. It’s not all that aged tasting, not oxidized at all.
