Drank cold. The consistency of the liquid is colorless. The olfactory intensity is high, and the duration is appreciable. The taste on the nose - dominant aroma is of malted Koji rice. The taste on the nose - secondary aromas traces impressions of vanilla, white peach, wood, coconut, dried apricot, milky hint, white mushrooms, kiwi and mimosa for an even earthy flavor. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of medium strength’s sake. The aroma on the tongue is slightly dry. The body is round. The taste intensity is normal, and the persistence is sufficient. On the palate the aftertaste is of medium intensity. The final mouth sensations are easy to drink. On the roof of the mouth there are hints of vanilla, peach, anise and pepper for a light taste. VARIATIONS Plus, drunk at room temperature (recommended temperature) (My vote 6.4/10) Colorless and transparent. The olfactory intensity is normal and sufficiently prolonged. 720 ml green bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 17.2%. Expensive. Still and clear sake, nearly colourless, with just a faint greyish-yellowish hue. Fairly strong aroma of raw alcohol, rice and mushrooms, hints of marzipan. The flavour is slightly better than the aroma, some spicy notes, hints of white wine, warming mouthfeel. I still don’t get what’s the big deal about sake.

Bottled (from Alko Prisma Kivihaka, Vaasa). Very pale with no head. Aroma is fruits, mild frutis, alcohol as well as some mild alcohol and earthyness. Flavour is boiled rice, alcohol, some mild fruits and floral notes along with some hints of juniper. This is nicely balanced both cold and warm.

Bottled (from Alko, Vaasa). Fridge cold. Pale watery see through colour, no head. Aroma is rice, melted rubber and some slight spicy notes as well. Also quite much sweaty shoe aroma in it. Flavour is mild spices, herbs, lightly fruity as well as some ricelike notes. Hides the alcohol very well.

Room temperatured. Same colour & no head. Aroma stays quite the same but gets the foot sweat stronger and also a stinging alcoholic peak in it. Flavour is quite much the same, but turns a bit more grassyish dry in the front palate.

At about 70 C. Loses some of the footsweat in aroma, but alcohol comes through a bit better. Flavour gets a slightly alcoholic sting. I probably liked the aroma best when cold, the flavour probably inbetween fridgecold and room temperature.
