bottle, mit Dank an Allen! Hazy orange colour with a tiny white head and a fruity nose. Light-bodied with low carbonation. Malty and yeasty with a nice fruity touch of mainly tropical fruit. A nice and chewy beer, ideal for long summer evenings.

bottle, Danke Allen! Hazy orange-yellow colour with a tiny white head. Fruity nose. Very light-bodied, very low carbonation. Slightly malty with nice fruity accents (papaya, mango, other tropical fruit). Very slightly hoppy, especially in the finish. A light and refreshing summer beer, although I can’t see why this should be classified as German Hefeweizen.

The bottle looks a bit boring, the beer in the glass is okay. Starts malty, notes of nuts, reminds me of gingery biscuit. Finish is mild, modest like cinnamon. Interesting beer! Thanks to Allen for the bottle!

bottle, herzlichen Dank Allen! Cloudy orange-yellow colour with a mid-sized frothy white head. Fruity nose. Malty background with a fruity touch and hints of cocoa and tropical fruit. The mixture of cocoa flavours and fruity flavours makes this beer very interesting. The strength is well-disguised. Unusual, interesting and very nice indeed.

Bottle from Allen, thanks! Blonde, cloudy. Lychee in the flavor, with hints of sweet wood and pepper. Sweetish, no signs of hopbitterness. No describable aroma. Good thirst quencher.

Bottel from Allen, thanks! Amber color, hazy. Lovely aroma. Milk chocolate, like chocolate ice from ice maker Van der Poel in Hengelo and some papaya. Sweet flavor with chocolate milk, some flowers, orange and papaya. Soft hopbitter aftertaste. I really can’t see this beer as a bock, but the flavor is quite nice.

Hazy dark amber color, with copper shades; the big head reduces quickly. At first there is some aroma of chocolate, with light yeast and caramel too. It has a correct body strength, with a flavor that juggles between the chocolate and the caramel, with low bitterness. Easy but drinkable.

Bottled (BB 01/2008)
Orange color, small white head. Slightly fruity, mainly wet paper aroma. Crisp carbonation, quite watery, sweet watermelon and mango flavors. Ok summer drink, but otherwise quite bland.
