bottle from Kaufland Pforzheim. Cloudy yellow colour, large and very creamy white head. Fruity nose. Wheaty and yeasty, very slightly fruity, hardly any banana, wheat-accented. Pleasantly hopped for the style. Not over-carbonated, extremely smooth and pleasant carbonation, compared with other examples of the style. A very good one.

bottle from Kaufland Pforzheim. Cleae pale golden colour, large white head. Hoppy nose. Dry hoppy start without a lot of malt. A good malty background is detectable later, as well as some very nice grassy and resiny hop flavours. A dry and pleasant example of the style.

bottle from Kaufland Pforzheim, labelled Flößer Hell (whatever ’Flosser’ means I don’t know, whereas Flößer is a reminiscence to the raftsmen that used to transport wood from the Black Forest along the Enz to Pforzheim). Clear pale golden colour, large, fluffy white head. Shy malty base, some dry and bitter hops in the finish. Rather uninteresting.

It tastes a bit fruity when Antrunk, but then comes through the hoppy, grainy character. O.K.
