22/10/2024. Bottle pour at JSS Japanese Sake & Shochu Tasting-room, Tokyo. Region #472. Japanese Prefecture 43/47. Pours colourless with no head. Aroma is honeydew melon, hints of chocolate and caramel, fragrant rice, blossom, light boozy raisin edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Quite creamy, no carbonation. My first sake in Japan. Very nice.

500 ml bottle. Clear. Nose is simple. Rice, koji, light vanilla and caramel, some citrus. Swweet, spicy, rice, koji, lightly fruity. Nothing wrong with this, but not particularly memorable either.
